Artist Bio

Originally from East Harlem, New York City, I  Starting my artistic journey in 1995, the desire to create art  soon became an unyielding obligation to myself to explore the inner mechanism of my creative consciousness. But also, from a desperation that I needed to do something else to unleash my frustrated creativity rather than conform into a life of droning misery. From small sketches to large scale projects, my art is a highly-personal reflection of myself, my cultures and my spirit.

 

Through personal trials and tribulations, my work has both suffered and thrived.  I’ve been lucky enough to have participated in a few  small collaborative projects, as well as exhibiting in a solo capacity, but I have not yet reached that precipice of satisfaction which would solidify my reputation in the art world.
